* 9+1 has Juuga introducing Koyomi to a way to make money via an advertising job. The latter was just about to be convinced until Chise points out that Juuga is trying to rope him into a ''pyramid scam''.

** It gets even funnier in the meta because the lifeguard is the same bearded man who wanted to buy a keyboard back in SSSS.Gridman. And doubles as a CreatorCameo and InkSuitActor because the bearded man is played by Masaya Obi, aka the protagonist Naoto Sho from Series/DenkouChoujinGridman and his character design is completely based after the actor's current appearance.

* Without the kaiju, the Eugenicists essentially have no purpose in life anymore. However, Onija declares his intent to kill people even without kaiju. Turns out he made true on his intent, as Yomogi's classmates later talk about how he got arrested for ''punching a cop in an attempt to take his gun''. They even note that he actually looks cool.

* When his mom asks if Gauma is coming to the school festival, Yomogi simply says he was banned from the school [[spoiler: to not disclose his death]]. This is made somewhat funnier due to the fact that Gauma did actually attempt to gain access to school grounds in Episode 4, only to be restrained by faculty.

* After finding out Sizumu transferred to Yume and Yomogi's school, Gauma ditches his job to confront him directly. [[RealityEnsues This ends up with him being restrained by two faculty members,]] ''[[RealityEnsues and]]'' [[RealityEnsues getting fired]].

* The running gag involving Gauma trying to catch Sizumu while he's off-guard, only to be stymied by the [[RealityEnsues rules of the water park and one very attentive lifeguard.]]

* Though the context of why he does this isn't funny at all, the fact that Gauma admonishes Yomogi in the middle of a kaiju battle for leaving an emotionally distressed Yume by ''blasting Dyna Soldier in the face'' is worth a laugh.

* When Dynazenon starts the battle by pulling out its ShoulderCannon[=s=], Gauma has to correct Yume when she shows how...unique her [[CallingYourAttacks naming sense]] is;

* Again Dynazenon pulls out its [[ShoulderCannon shoulder cannons,]] and Yume reveals she's sticking with "Something Beam" for the name.

* Right when Yume is about to confess to Yomogi's confession to her, Sizumu [[MomentKiller immediately ruins the entire scene by just being there]].

* While Team Dynazenon are off dealing with a troublesome failed Kaiju, how do the Eugenicists spend the episode? Screwing around at a game center and going to the movies. Not even noticing the Kaiju going giant sized.

* Though the context of why he does this isn't funny at all, the fact that Gauma admonishes Yomogi in the middle of a kaiju battle for leaving an emotionally-distressed Yume by ''blasting Dyna Soldier in the face'' is worth a laugh.

* At the start of the episode Onija declares his intent to kill people even without kaiji. His is latter findout though Yomogi's classmates that he got arrested offscreen for trying to steel a police offiers gun. It is made even funnier by the fact that they list his actually age and occupation, an (allegedly)5021 year old kaiju Euthugentics. At very least Yomogi's classmates thinks he looks cool.

* Being the wingman that he is, Gauma chastises Yomogi for leaving a grieving Yume alone by herself - especially during a Kaiju attack. Also being that it is Gauma, he does this by ''shooting Dyna Soldier in the face''.
