* The tone of Half-Elf Warlock's point-of-view chapter is humorous enough, with her throwing an internal hissy-fit over having to maintain a barrier spell as the other adventurers fight invading monsters, at one point grousing about [[SkewedPriorities the price of spellbooks in her home country]], but it gets ratcheted up to full-blown BlackComedy when she summarily executes an infiltrator, without knowing he's an infiltrator, simply because her companions getting suspicious of him was distracting them from the battle. Everyone including [[EvenEvilHasStandards the attacking monsters]] stares at her in shock until she tells them to go back to fighting.

* In the manga it's even better. Spearman and Heavy Warrior are drawn in a more simplistic style than usual, before cutting to a blank panel bearing the words, "Great Idea". This is followed by a panel where Heavy Warrior has booted the wizard clean off the tower. The three then simply watch as the wizard hits the ground, complete with a "plonk" sound.

In spite of being a brooding AntiHero who's out for Goblin blood, Goblin Slayer is just as much a [[TheComicallySerious source of comedy]] as [[Franchise/{{Batman}} the inspiration for his character]].

* The author, Kumo Kagyu, would portray himself as ASCII art of Franchise/{{Deadpool}} back when the series was still just a humble web novel. At least, that's the best explanation for why he would attend a TRPG talk show in a Deadpool mask.

* Female Knight plays Wizard Boy into a party with Priestess as a leader, effectively forcing her into the position against her will by cowing her. Heavy Warrior, in the background, notes with both surprise and relief that she's still considered Lawful Good by the Supreme God somehow in spite of that. Otherwise she would've been smote where she stood.
