Back in 2009, I considered whether to make the series DarkerAndEdgier or HotterAndSexier. I chose the latter.

This season explores what could have been had I chose the former. Thus there's lots of {{Gorn}} and the CerebusSyndrome is in full effect.

* IdiosyncraticEpisodeNaming: Episodes are titled after their older counterparts, but translated in English or vice versa. For example:
** ''I Evo Nje Opet'' - ''It's Her Again''
** ''Fantom u Kabini za Presvlacenje'' - ''Phantom of the Changing Booth''
** ''Frightday'' - ''Pet-AAA!-k''
* {{Remake}}: The episodes of this season are remakes of older episodes that would have been affected by the dark and edgy.

[[WMG:'''Season 3''']]
This season takes the different route that could have been taken in ''D.L.D.'' 's episode 120; namely, the one where Luke's death ray hits '''him''', causing Dexter to hit him with a bringing-back-to-life ray, which splits Luke into two; his good half, which is dead, and his bad half, called Evil Luke. Also, school counselor Dickle is dead, which means Principal Peterson needs to find a replacement and Zoë is there too (this time, not transgender).

* CampGay: Sven Benny, Zoë's friend, whose campiness annoys all the other characters so much, [[RefugeInAudacity they shoot him.]]
* LiteralSplitPersonality: Evil Luke, who describes himself as "all of Luke's flaws in one person".
* TerribleIntervieweesMontage: Principal Peterson's search for the new counselor goes like this, til she settles for Ann Eagle.

Back in April 2011, ''D.L.D.'' had its 120th episode, which introduced major changes; all the characters were killed off and a cast of entirely new characters was introduced. However, there was another option I could have taken where only 4 characters were (permanently) killed off and only one new character (Zoë)was introduced. Not to mention all the other WhatCouldHaveBeen moments in the series.

This series explores those moments and answers many questions. Mainly, what if Luke's plan to kill all the characters failed? What if Zoë joined the regular cast of characters instead of a wholly new one? And what if instead of the Demented Dimension, the characters got trapped in the Blue Dimension?

[[WMG:Tropes present in this series:]]

* {{Arc}}: First there's the "Trapped in the [[AnotherDimension Blue Dimension]]" arc, followed by the "TrappedInThePast" arc, immediately followed by an arc in which D.L.D. & Co. have to defend their city from Lavaman, a cosmic being made from pure lava.
* EnemyWithout: The other direction I was talking about; instead of dying Luke's bad side becomes its own person and is named Evil Luke.
* IdiosyncraticEpisodeNaming: Episodes have one word titles, for example; ''Zoë, Pastries, Blue, Lava,'' etc.
* {{Remake}}: The episodes are basically remakes of episodes from ''D.L.D.''.
