Ruddell Bird "Rudd" Weatherwax (September 23, 1907 - February 25, 1985) was an American actor, animal trainer, and breeder best known for training the original Lassie for ''Film/LassieComeHome'' (1943).
He was married to Emogene Barton, Mae Esther Hawksworth, and Betty Feurer Brooks, and had three children, one with Barton and two with Hawskworth.
Weatherwax died in 1985 at the age of 77 from cardiac arrest.
