* ActionGirl: Even taking her loss to Holm into account, she's perhaps the most dominant female fighter in recent memory.
* AmazonianBeauty: She's tall, strong, buff, and can kick ass. Doesn't make her any less attractive, in or out of universe.

* BeatThemAtTheirOwnGame: Rousey has a truly frightening ability to do this to her opponents. Supposedly she was going to get her ass kicked by Alexis Davis because she didn't have a standup - she promptly punched Davis out. [=Sara McMann=] was supposedly too big and strong for Rousey to maneuver, so Rousey pinned her against the cage and took her out with a knee. Cat Zingano was also supposed to be too big and strong for Rousey, and also too talented overall - Rousey beat her in 14 seconds with am armbar variation. And no one expected Rousey to lose to Bethe Correia, but Correia's strongest point was supposedly her punching and Rousey faceplanted her. All that being the case, she tried to outbox Holly Holm as well, and [[{{Understatement}} that didn't work out for her]] ''at all''.
* BreakupBreakout: She, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafr formed a sort of group and called themselves the Four Horsewomen. Rousey of course has gone on to immeasurable success. Baszler is a very distant second, partly because she was older than the others and well past her prime by the time the women's MMA scene took off. Duke has had an unsuccessful UFC career to date, Shafr hasn't been good enough to make it into the UFC.
* BullyingADragon: Bethe Correia got her match against Rousey based off beating two of Rousey's friends in fights and incessant trashtalk. Rousey took 30 seconds to beat Bethe at her own game.
** Rousey herself was on the receiving end of this when she tried the same on Holly Holm.
* CurbstompCushion: She was doing somewhere between alright and adequate against Holm in the early goings of their match, landing a big punch, a takedown and a near armbar. It wasn't until Holm landed an elbow that blurred Rousey's vision and messed up her balance that it turned into the beatdown.
** In a way, Holm's subsequent loss to Miesha Tate cushioned Rousey's loss to Holm. Prior to that fight, one of the theories about why she lost to Holm so badly was that she had never actually been any good, just "mediocre beating up on bad" - Holm losing to someone Rousey had beaten repeatedly and in matches more one sided kind of put that theory away for good.
* DoubleStandardAbuseFemaleOnMale: Claims to have beaten an ex in her autobiography for taking naked pictures of her without her consent. This coming after she called out Floyd Mayweather for his repeated instances of domestic battery.

* HandshakeRefusal: Started doing this in her last few matches, to the point where she was actually booed for it.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Calling out Floyd Mayweather for slapping his girlfriends around becomes less awesome when she not admits to doing the same thing in her book, but also begins dating a guy with his own domestic battery charges.

* LaserGuidedKarma: Her Handshake Refusal and repeated taunting of her opponents came off as completely classless, to the point that one of the most watched videos on Youtube is her loss to Holly Holm.

* SmallNameBigEgo: More than a few people who have met her have this opinion of her, such as when she tried to throw down with Paige VanZant just because VanZant congratulated Holly Holm on her win.
* TakeThatAudience: Apparently, her reason for appearing on ''Wrestling/WrestleMania 31'', aside from herself being a fan of wrestling, is to tell the fans of both wrestling and MMA (who are undergoing a never-ending FandomRivalry) that it's OK to love both mediums.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: By all appearances didn't take her upcoming match with Holm very seriously. Her own mother warned her she was going to lose and refused to attend the fight.
