* NinetiesHair: He has a bowl cut. Justified when he [[HairstyleInertia was a kid]], since he was born in the 90's.

* {{Bishonen}}: He has a more feminine-looking face than most other male characters (Takuma and the Suzuhuara twins being the exceptions), having big eyes with big irises (when he actually opens them) and a rounder face with a pointed chin (the other guys have more square chins).

* {{Hunk}}: He is described as handsome, but is bigger, more muscular and has more marked facial traits than a {{Bishonen}}. Even more so when a group of students are amazed when Yamada(in Alex's body) shows off.

* {{Bishonen}}: He is more clearly drawn as one than the other male characters - not only because of his long hair, but also because of his eyes that have visible eyelashes and big irises.

* CoolLoser: She only has a couple of friends in her huge class which isn't exactly much for someone who is kind, polite and very helpful. She is by far the most justified cool loser in the series, though, in that students are weirded out by her playing with dolls and as such stay away from her. Those who have gotten to know her are generally fond of her.

* CoolLoser: She is kind, outgoing and extremely compassionate, and yet, she apparently couldn't make friends (before she met Yamada, a fellow friendless person) just because she is somewhat clumsy and a bit ditzy.

* FriendlessBackground: She didn't have any friends before meeting Yamada (she didn't consider Nancy a friend, but more like a guardian, and she probably only saw Yuri as her [[SenpaiKohai Kohai]]) due to being very awkward when approaching others.

* HidingBehindYourBangs: She is the most mysterious and secretive character in the series (only rivaled by the chairperson), and to symbolize this, she has bangs covering her left eye.

* {{Jerkass}}: [[AffablyEvil A reasonably pleasant one]], but at the end of the day, he still only cares about himself and his own amusement, he doesn't keep promises, and he can be something of an InsufferableGenius. Dark Takuma dials the jerkassery up, not being anywhere near as affable]]

* AmbiguouslyEvil: From time to time, she acts very suspiciously, especially when it's revealed that she [[spoiler: erased Yamada and Himekawa's memories and knew them in the past]] - making it a bit of a mystery what her true alignment is. She only erased their memories because Himekawa desperately asked her to, and she wasn't involved in the reason.]]
* AngryCollarGrab: She does this to Yamada when she thinks he's showing her NoSympathy when it comes to [[spoiler:Ushio stealing her power]].
* ApologeticAttacker: She initiates [[spoiler:her memory manipulation of Yamada and Ushio]] by saying that she's sorry that she had to do it.

* BenevolentBoss: She acts like a good and kind leader to [[spoiler: her witch group]], taking on a big sister role towards them (especially Kotori) and constantly worrying about their well-being.
* BigGood: Along with student council president Miyamura, she functions as this during most of the second witch war (until [[spoiler: her power is stolen]]), given that she essentially [[spoiler: controls the one of the witch groups that is composed of friendly witches]].
* BigSisterInstinct: She is particularly protective of Kotori who's the TokenMiniMoe of [[spoiler:her witch group]] and the student body in general.
* BlessedWithSuck: [[spoiler: Though she takes a long time to realize it, her status as the seventh witch is really keeping her down: The only enjoyment/purpose she has in life is helping the other witches, but she has no opportunities to cultivate her own life and must live mostly friendless and forgotten.]]

* BrokenBird: Not extremely broken, but she is more sad than she initially seems about the fact that she can't afford to make friends because [[spoiler: they'll end up forgetting her]].

* CoolBigSis: [[spoiler:Her witches]] see her as this, given that she functions as their leader and is one of the smarter and more outgoing members of the bunch.
* CovertPervert: She didn't come off as a pervert until [[spoiler: [[TimeStandsStill the time stood still]] during the ceremony]], where she - like Rika - couldn't resist the temptation of looking at everybody's underwear.

* DefrostingIceQueen: She is quite hostile to Yamada when they first meet [[spoiler:in the present time]], because she doesn't trust the student council, and because [[spoiler:she knows he did something to Himekawa that made the latter miserable]]. When he shows he's a good person [[spoiler:just like she used to know him]], and that the student council is trustworthy, she warms up to him.

* DePower: [[spoiler: Ushio steals her power, leaving her as a normal student]].

* EnemyScan: [[spoiler: As one of the seventh witch's secondary powers, she can use this to tell if someone is a witch from her own group or under a witch power. * ForgottenFirstMeeting: When asked, Yamada doesn't know who she is nor remembers her, however [[spoiler: we later find out that she's the girl who Yamada and Ushio saved from thugs on the street, and she later manipulates their memories about the fight and herself in order to not expose her identity as the seventh witch. However, she contrasts the other two examples of this trope, Shiraishi and Himekawa, by not having an overall gentle personality.
* TookALevelInJerkass: [[spoiler: She is still a good person, but her second year punk self has more attitude and is more hot-tempered than she had/was back in her first year.]]

The fact she just trashed her clubroom also helps her look furious.

* UngratefulBastard: [[spoiler: She does show regret over the fact that she messed up their memories, but otherwise she never thanks Yamada and Ushio from saving her from being harassed from bullies and doesn't really seem grateful about it.]]
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: [[spoiler: If she had been able to control her power from the get-go and properly change Yamada and Ushio's memories about saving her from thugs instead of changing them so that Yamada thought Ushio started the fight and vice versa, the entire plot of the series probably wouldn't have happened. Most noteworthily, Yamada wouldn't have been estranged and hated by everyone the next few months.]]

She used her power on him to see if he loved her back, but he didn't - instead, he had fallen in love with Shiraishi whom he had just met by that point. This broke her down and she saw no other way out from the sorrow than having everybody's memories wiped.]]

* CaneFu: [[spoiler:His alter ego doesn't use the cane for balance, but instead as an efficient weapon.]]
* TheCharmer: He is fairly smooth - he easily makes Shiraishi open up and act cheerful around him, and he persuades her and Yamada to [[spoiler: experiment with activating the witch powers]] before Yamada even realizes that he shouldn't be obeying Takuma.

Add to that the fact that she doesn't seem to have entered puberty yet despite her age, and you could have a field day trying to diagnose her.
