* FieryRedheard: Inverted; she's a redhead, but personality-wise she's more of a ShrinkingViolet. Her only "fiery" trait is her habit of punching men who get too close to her, and that's mostly on instinct.

* JokersLoveJunkFood: Wagnaria's manager, Kyoko, is a lazy bum and former delinquent who ran a gang. Customer service isn't her forte, or any task one expects of a manager. When she isn't scarfing down parfaits made for her by Yachiyo, she's often seen leaning back against one of the counters munching on potato chips, usually leaving crumbs behind, to the consternation of Souta Takanashi, who once had to be restrained to keep from going after her with a broom.

* SharedFamilyQuirks: She shows characteristics of almost all her children (except for Izumi, who instead inherited [[EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette her looks]] and nothing else). She has Kazue's hardworking personality, Kozue's playfulness, Nazuna's manipulative nature, and Souta's quick temper. Like Souta, she also has an obsession with all things small. She even tries to do ImTakingHerHomeWithMe to Popura as she heads back to work after leaving in ''Lord Of The Takanashi''.

* CutenessProximity: His defining character trait. His reason for working at the restaurant to begin with was because Popura bumped into him and asked him if he wanted to work there. He simply found her cuteness and small size impossible to resist, despite the fact that he is younger than her.

* SenpaiKohai: The sempai to Souta. Souta almost always refers to her as "Senpai," which is itself funny since Popura is generally mistaken for an elementary student.

* {{Keigo}}: Speaks in a noticeably formal register, which is an obvious clue to her upbringing.

* HundredPercentAdorationRating: One of the few characters in the show (alongside Nazuna) who is given this treatment in the story. It's impossible for anyone to be mad at her ever.

* CreepyLonerGirl: She has long, disheveled dark hair, wears black gothic dresses, has an incredibly gloomy and negative disposition, spends most of her time locked inside her room struggling to overcome WritersBlock before meeting her deadlines and she's completely unable to take care of herself which is why her room is filled with pieces of paper and she's often covered in ink.

* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette: She has long black hair and pale skin due to spending most of her time indoors. Suit her {{Goth}} fashion style.

* ProneToTears: Because she's so gloomy and hypersensitive, she easily starts crying when her sister points out her dysfunctions as a writer and a person.

* PeekABangs: Her hair covers her left eye.

* PeekABangs: His hair covers one of his eyes, making him look scarier than he actually is.

* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette: Due to spending most of her time indoors.

* PeekABangs: Her hair covers the left half of her face.

* StrongFamilyResemblance: She greatly resembles the Takanashi siblings' mother much more than the other siblings. Right down to the [[PeekABangs Peek-A-Bangs]]. The only differences are that their mom obviously looks older and has curly hair whereas Izumi's hair and straight (and messy).

* LikeParentLikeChild: She shows characteristics of all her children. She has Kazue's hardworking personality, Izumi's looks, Kozue's playfulness, Nazuna's manipulative nature, Souta's quick temper, and of course, the CutenessProximity that all the Takanashi siblings have.
