* AdaptationalJerkass: While Scorch served in the Empire in ''Legends'', his tasks mostly involved hunting down surviving Jedi, their sympathizers and rebels, and there was nothing indicating that he did anything more than that. In Canon, he's the right-hand clone of a mad scientist who experiments on other clones and is even complicit in Hemlock's experiments on kidnapped Force-sensitive children by keeping them contained (and derogatorily [[ItIsDehumanizing referring to them as specimens]]).
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: In ''Legends'', he was known for being a wisecracker that enjoyed blowing things up, but grew sour after his squad was forced to leave Sev behind near the end of the Clone Wars, traits he carried over as an Imperial Commando. In Canon, we don't get any hints of this during the Clone Wars, and his personality as an Imperial Commando is much colder and no-nonsense.
* AdaptationalWimp: Scorch in ''Legends'' was depicted as a highly capable, elite soldier who received special training from a Mandalorian, and could hold his own just as well as in tandem with his brothers. In Canon there's no indication he's anything more than an exceptionally competent [[EliteMook Elite]] MookLieutenant who doesn't demonstrate nearly the same level of combat prowess. [[spoiler:To wit, the two onscreen fights Scorch receives in ''The Bad Batch'' can seldom be called fights, as they were incredibly brief and one-sided, with the second one resulting in his death before he could even fire a shot.]]

* LackOfEmpathy: Scorch demonstrates a concerning lack of compassion for his fellow clones, being complicit in experimentation and extreme conditioning that most subjects don't survive. He also doesn't bat an eye to the kidnapping of Force sensitive children and isn't above harming them to keep them in line. One notable instance is Emerie commenting, [[EveryoneHasStandards with a hint of surprise]], at Baryn being an infant and Scorch's response is nothing short of cold.

Added DiffLines:

* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: In ''Attack of the Clones'', no trooper is shown to have an individual personality or even a nickname. Their suits are also completely uniform, and colors represent a certain rank rather than their affiliation.

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationalRelationshipOverhaul: In ''Legends'', it was hinted that Bly and Aayla Secura might have been a little bit... ''closer'' than normal for a Clone commander and their Jedi general. This hasn't carried over to Canon, at least yet.

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationalNiceGuy: In ''Legends'', Bacara was known as a particularly harsh and demanding commander who routinely kicked out troopers who didn't meet his extremely high standards. He somewhat resented his Jedi General and wasn't that fazed when ordered to kill Mundi. None of these traits have been demonstrated in canon.

* LongHairIsFeminine: Unlike her brothers, she wears her hair in long BraidsOfAction to show her gender. Helps that she's a pilot so it's not in the way.
* QueerColors: A subtle one. Her armor has blue and [[PinkIsFeminine pink]] accents, which combined with the default white makes up the colors of the trans pride flag.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: By default among her squad, for obvious reasonsreasons.
* TransTribulations: An atypical case. While there's no taboo against being trans in the wider galaxy, on Kamino it was seen as her being too individual and so she had to hide it until she deployed and can't medically transition. Her brothers fully support her though and gave her the name "Sister" to reflect that.

* AdaptationalSympathy: Since Order 66 was revealed to be the result of a mind control-chip, the Clones turning on the Jedi became far more sympathetic as they went from knowing traitors to brainwashed victims who often suffered immensely after taking out their Jedi allies.

* AndIMustScream: The clones are all completely aware of what they're doing after Order 66 goes down, and unable to do anything about it no matter how much they try FightingFromTheInside.

* AndIMustScream: The clones are all completely aware of what they're doing after Order 66 goes down, and unable to do anything about it no matter how much they try FightingFromTheInside. Even after everything is said and done, it becomes clear that Order 66 also wiped a good chunk of their personality, as most Clones after the Empire's formation reverted to plain white and gray armor and were far harsher and less individualistic than before.

** The Shock Troopers, who were raised separately from their brethren, and who where mostly used to guard the political elite on places like Coruscant, tended to look down on other Clones.

* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Shock Troopers were generally disliked by both Jedi and fellow Clone Troopers, largely because of their arrogant attitudes and because their primary job was to protect the galaxy's elite and to persecute any and all who opposed Palpatine's regime.

In fact, the red-marked Shock Troopers on Coruscant were already becoming this before the fall of the Jedi, acting like a "special police force" that persecuted dissidents, guarded political prisoners and broke up protests through violence.

[[spoiler:The second time, however, was a straight up a CurbStompBattle, with Scorch getting plugged full of holes before even firing a shot.]]

* DroppedABridgeOnHim: [[spoiler:He's killed off pretty quickly and easily by Crosshair and Hunter during the GrandFinale of ''The Bad Batch'', not even being able to give them a battle before he falls to his death. For added points, he literally drops off a bridge upon death.]]

Added DiffLines:

* UndyingLoyalty: He's very dutiful in his assignment to Hemlock, to the degree it supersedes loyalty to his fellow clones, as he has no compunction about them dying in extremely unethical experiments. [[spoiler:By the GrandFinale, he's the last clone commando at Hemlock's side, and Hunter and Crosshair have to kill him to rescue Omega.]]
