* EstablishingCharacterMoment: He makes his first major appearance in the diner with a worked-up Little Deyzuna standing in his way, and flatly tells him to move. When Little Deyzuna [[BullyingADragon refuses]], Machine Head then asks more politely, then gives up and just decides to walk around him instead... and when Deyzuna tries roundhouse-kicking him in the head, only then does he get violent. All this shows he's intimidating and incredibly fast and strong, but [[VillainyFreeVillan not actively malicious and only dangerous when pushed]].

* BadassBiker: Rides one of Roboworld's Sand Bike's and drives it with pretty impressive skill. Enough skill that he's somehow able to actually keep up with the other racers with their custom souped-up CoolCars.

** BerserkButton: Just the mere mention of Trava is enough to set him afire.

** BerserkerTears: Always sheds some tears whenever he's in this state.

* BeyondTheImpossible: His Sand Bike seems to be no different than the models given to the others under his command. He is ''still'' able to keep up with the Redline racers, even coming in fifth place.

* RightHandCat: He owns an adorable yet strange-looking (possibly of Alien origin) cat. It has a passing resemblance to a Sphinx-breed cat as well although it's skin or fur has blue-ish tints to it.

* FinalBoss: When Roboworld's forces [[RageQuit abandon the chase]] and all the other racers are left in the dust, the only thing between JP, Sonoshee, and the finish line is Machinehead and his Godwing.

* NervesOfSteel: Remains completely unflappable even when confronted by a whole platoon of Roboworld soldiers let by Colonel Volton. The only time he is shown to loose his cool for even a second is when [[spoiler:Sonoshee ends up having a pretty intense crash]].

* CombatPragmatist: The last drag of Redline has him formally challenge JP and Sonoshee to use their [[spoiler:Steamlight]] at the same time he uses his. When the race gets a little too close for his comfort, he reveals he secretly had a ''second'' one, which he consume for extra speed.

* PetTheDog: In the dub at least, [[spoiler: He requests that Titan try to kill Funky Boy with the Hyper Disintegrator Cannon array in one shot as he doesn't want the bioweapon to suffer.]]

* TrueCompanions: When JP's [[MyLifeFlashedBeforeMyEyes life flashes before his eyes]] during a crash, Frisbee features prominently in most of his memories.

* WhipItGood: Johnny Boy uses a whip in battle.

* NotSoStoic: Frisbee is understandably very incredulous once he hears from the reporters that JP entered the Redline race. The facial expressions he makes have to be seen to be believed.

* MultiArmedAndDangerous: While he doesn't use them for combat, he still pretty damn effective when it comes to killing.

While there's not necessarily any bad blood between them, on the course, he has '''zero''' intention of going easy on her.]]

* Foreshadowing: Her Crab Sonoshee resembles a dual-body powerboat for offshore racing. This design choice becomes clear when it's revealed it can travel over water just as well as land.
