* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: He has no problem whatsoever about treating everybody else like utter trash, putting the contestants through generally inhumane or outright disgusting challenges, sending the eliminated contestants to a small prison isolated on an island in the first season [[spoiler:(which causes one of them to go insane)]] and a cramped closet in the second season [[spoiler:until OJ intervenes]], frequently makes promises he knows he won't be able to keep (the most recurring of which being his legendary cookies) and treats Toilet and [=MePad=] with no respect despite all that they do for him. ''However,'' when [=MePad=] informs him that Toilet was a primary benefactor in the group's acquisition of a new battery for him and says that any thanks directed for himself should be given to Toilet instead, [=MePhone=] hesitates for a moment as if he's taking in that Toilet truly does care for him...and immediately brushes him off and blames him for the Grand Slams' failure, leaving Toilet on the verge of tears.
* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: Generally gets away with all that he subjects the contestants to... up until OJ sues him for depositing eliminated contestants from the second season in a locked closet in his hotel and gets him jailed for a brief period of time, and then is subjected to a critical battery failure almost immediately after his release after Tissues sneezes all over him. Earlier on, [[spoiler: [=MePhone4S=] accidentally killed him during an attempt to stop [=MePhone5=]]].
* KarmicButtMonkey: Becomes one in "Everything's A-OJ". He gets sued, sent to jail for an entire day, [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking and sneezed on by]] Tissues for a major plot for the next episode. Not that he didn't deserve it.

He expresses disgust at how Springy treated them, willingly offers them the opportunity to co-host after they get eliminated, appears genuinely saddened when they get hit by the Fist Thingy, calls them the greatest player in the season, permits Test Tube to ally with Bot even after The Floor states it'd give them an unfair advantage, and apologises for them not being able to rejoin.]]

* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Cookies. Throughout Season 1, a RunningGag is him having planned to use cookies as prizes for the non-eliminated contestants, but "[he's] a fat slob, so [he] ate them". In Season 2, he eats two cookies with the teams' logos on them to symbolise the merge, and in Season 3, he's shown tossing one into the air at the start of the intro and then eating it at the end of it. Furthermore, he demonstrates the Pic-Nix tables in "Snapshot Showdown" by generating triple-chocolate-chip cookies, and [[spoiler:"I Am Chocolate!" introduces the Immunity Cookie, which grants whichever contestant holds it immunity from elimination]].
* TraumaButton: [[spoiler:Steve Cobs. After Paintbrush is revealed to have painted him in "Alternate Reality Show", [=MePhone4=] becomes conspicuously uncomfortable before promptly giving them a zero. A latex balloon. Balloon starts off as a bossy, uncaring {{Jerkass}}, but he tries to atone for his bratty behavior once he joins Season 2. Unfortunately, with the vast majority of the contestants refusing to accept his reformation, he has trouble making friends and is very insecure about gaining everyone's approval.

* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: Team Chickenleg hated his guts for his previous BadBoss behavior. So much so, that when they were given an opportunity to vote him out in Season 1, every other member took it.
* AmbiguouslyBi: He has plenty of ShipTease with Suitcase, but his note to OJ in "Rain on Your Charade" has the word "bae" written on it, and he blushes when confessing to him that he genuinely loved being in the presence of his fellow contestants despite his {{Jerkass}} facade.
* TheAtoner: In Season 2, he genuinely wants to make amends with the other players. Unfortunately, they won't trust him.
* BerserkButton: Being called pink, as opposed to salmon. [[spoiler:Cabby doing so in her file about him angers him so much that he votes for her to be eliminated.]]

He formed an alliance with OJ and Bomb as part of an unknown plan and threatened to eliminate Salt if she didn't agree to be a test dummy for the fourth challenge. * NiceJobBreakingItHero: [[spoiler:He accidentally leads Baseball's alliance into a dangerous spot during the maze challenge, drops a bucket into the lake, which Suitcase has to retrieve (she almost drowns in the process), and indirectly causes his team to lose the Bucket Brigade challenge.]]
* NiceGuy: Excluding season 1, Balloon is normally a very sweet and compassionate person, wanting to make up for his actions in season one.

* MadEye: One of his eyes is smaller than the other, and he's an overly cheerful cereal mascot who's obsessed with toys, to the point of wanting to use the sentient Bot's programming to make them, and prone to creepily whispering in people's ears.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: His face is above his actual body, connected via two stalks, bearing eyes with actual irises and unique mouth assets that imply an overbite. His arms also end in orange mittens as opposed to the usual arm assets.
* SwallowedWhole: In a rare example of this being done by a good guy, the Floor swallows him in one gulp after he gets pushed down from the platform he was on following him swearing revenge on [=MePhone4=] for not letting him take Bot away to make them a mascot for Springtastic against their will, only to get pushed down from the platform he's on towards the ground where the Floor is waiting with his mouth open. Quite a fitting end for the mascot and spokesperson of a cereal brand.

* OddNameOut: He's the only contestant who isn't directly named after the object he is, instead having his name end in "-y".

* TeamKiller: Attempted to do so on her newly formed team in "Best Served Cold". Instead of using her files to help, Cabby emotionally manipulates her teammates, such as elevating tensions between Silver Spoon and Paintbrush, triggering Bow's TraumaButton several times, and encouraging Test Tube to spread slander about Silver Spoon so he'll be a likely candidate for elimination, when she knew there's no chance in winning the challenge. All this to get rid of the competition and save her own non-existent neck with none the wiser. [[spoiler:Luckily, Test Tube put a stop to this before things could escalate further.]]

* TooCleverByHalf: Her files got all the information and dirt on everyone down to pinpoint accuracy. The problem is that Cabby relies on her files ''too'' much and expects the contestants to behave accordingly based on the intel she gathered. [[spoiler:It's no surprise she was [[DidntSeeThatComing completely blindsided]] by her untimely elimination on her own account when her "ally" Test Tube goes against her manipulations.]]
