* BigBad: Introduced in Chapter 5, she's currently the main antagonist of the main story, [[YouCantThwartStageOne who ultimately succeeds in kidnapping Yuria by the end of the same chapter that introduces her]].

* MagicallyBindingContract: Having the powers of Soul Ministry, she has the power to enter into a mutually-agreed contract with a Soul, giving them access to greater power and the chance to discover the Artifact they were born out of. So far, the notable Souls that Kayrin has entered a contract with canonically are:
The Dark Knight/[[spoiler:Adam]], Lilith, [[Characters/EversoulBeastSouls Aira]],
[[Characters/EversoulFairySouls Vivenne]] [[spoiler:(at least until her triple betrayal moment in Chapter 6)]], [[Characters/EversoulFairySouls and Velanna]].

The uncontrollable "Soul of the End" that almost decimated humanity and forced them to flee to space after she was summoned by them. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

* SecretKeeper: Knows more about the Savior's true purpose, with her hologram mentioning that [[spoiler: he's actually supposed to ''suppress'' Yuria]], but she won't say anything more than that.

* FantasticRacism: She has no love for any Soul except the Dark Knight and Lilith, seeing them as nothing more than usurpers of Earth, and the one Soul she has anything other than disrespect for is Velanna, who is merely useful as a living weapon against her own kind.

* HumanityIsSuperior: She's all for humanity taking back the Earth from the pests known as Souls, and is of the opinion that since the Savior is human, he should be helping his fellow humans as well.

* CharmPerson: She has the power to charm those around her to the point where they become blind with love for her. This is expressed in-game with her Ultimate Skill "Temptation and Punishment". If she isn't the Soul with the highest Attack stat in battle, this Ultimate Skill makes it so that she can inflict Charm on the enemy's own Soul with the highest Attack while also allowing them to use their Main Skill within that period, a perk that Charm normally doesn't come with. When used properly, she can get them to inflict that Main Skill on their own allies instead, potentially saving her allies from a powerful attack.

* ForbiddenFruit: Despite her Artifact being Mesopotamian in origin, her design and personality have strong leanings towards this trope in the literal sense, to the point where one would assume this is the Artifact that she was modeled after upon first seeing her. She loves eating fruit, she has an apple that can transform into her staff, has a character theme literally named "Forbidden Fruit", and her sin was that [[spoiler:she tried to create one of her own kind out of curiosity, despite humans seeing such an action as taboo]]. [[spoiler:Turns out said "original sin" was just an excuse that humanity used to take away Eve from Faust and force the latter to create more Souls like her, and that her actual sin is that her power to beguile was the very cause of the [[WorldWarIII Soul War]] that led humanity to near extinction by the hands of Apollyon.]]

* MoralityChain: In the Main Story, [[spoiler:she became part of Apollyon's [[HorsemenOfTheApocalypse Four Knights of the Apocalypse]], in charge of the throne of Famine, as she got to her first]]. Her Love Story though is set in an AlternateTimeline where she was saved by the Savior from her imprisonment in the Abyss before the whole thing with [[spoiler:Apollyon]] ever went down. In this timeline, the Savior becomes this to her as [[BecauseYouWereNiceToMe his relentless efforts to reach out to her had wormed its way into her jaded heart]] despite her efforts to push him, and subsequently those affiliated with him, away out of her fear that she'll end up corrupting the supposed [[IncorruptiblePurePureness Savior of Souls]], for better or worse. This may either end up hurting her (Bad Ending) or helping her regain hope, even if a little (Normal and True Endings).

* ChickMagnet: Has garnered the romantic attention of quite a few Souls, even outside of their Love Stories. For instance, Jade and Miriam become interested in him following the events of Chapter 2, Yuria showing romantic interest in him during ''"Everschool!"'', and Lute has her EarlyBirdCameo dedicated to her crushing over him in the February 2023 event ''"Pure Love Valentine's"'' and the September 2023 event ''"Run, Rabbit! Go On a Midnight Run!"''.

* DemotedToExtra: In the first two events. In "Chloe's Strange Dream", he's only mentioned in a line or two while Chloe takes the lead, and in "Pure Love Valentine's", he's more or less unrelated to the story outside of being the guy a lot of Souls want to give chocolates to. Averted starting from "Spring Blooming in Your Heart" onwards, where he's the POV character once again.

** During the events of ''[[AllJustADream "Everschool"]]'', he seems to feel giddy at the idea of him and "student council president" Yuria becoming a romantic pair.

* OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent: Considered himself one before getting summoned to Eden and getting the powers of a Soul Master. He notes being a pretty average boy back in his time period. This aspect of him is somewhat explored in the April 2023 event ''"Everschool!"''.

** PlayedForLaughs by the end of the summer event ''"Endless Summer"''. Since Vivienne's magical "summer getaway" traps those who enter until they've truly enjoyed their time at the beach, to the point that the environment itself makes duplicates of them to goad any "liars" into taking a break, everyone assumed they'd need to get the "justice-powered" warrior Adrianne to chill out in order to leave. [[spoiler:It's only after they had a (playful) scuffle with her and her two duplicates that they realized that ''the Savior himself'' was the actual liar by way of his own duplicate appearing out of nowhere, [[https://i.imgur.com/cqjGauY.png decked out in a beach hat, a Hawaiian shirt, a lei around his neck, some diving gear, a duck innertube, and a watermelon hanging behind him]]. After a bit of reprimanding from the other Souls, he decides to have everyone help him enjoy their whole vacation more genuinely]].
** He does have his limits though, as seen in the Christmas event ''"A Cozy Kumawreaths"''. When a sledding-addicted monster challenges him, Garnet, Dora, and Catherine to a race, he revs himself up to win by thinking of the ramifications of him losing to the monster: an Arkenine full of snow worsened by the monster's ice-powered havoc onto the city, with him fearing that his cozy winter days would be wasted on getting the city back on track as well as ensuring that the citizens don't contract long-lasting illnesses from the excessively cold weather, not to mention the costs that would have to be spent for the above.

** [[StarCrossedLovers End of a Dream]]: [[spoiler:The Savior begs Yuria to run away from the problem together, but the latter is [[ConscienceMakesYouGoBack too attached to her kingdom to leave it be]]. In the end, [[DifferingPrioritiesBreakup they separate from each other]], swearing to be happy wherever they are, the Savior back in his time and Yuria retaking the crown. However, the Queen does her duties with [[DullEyesOfUnhappiness empty eyes]], [[AbsenceMakesTheHeartGoYonder an empty heart]], and [[TragicKeepsake wearing the black dress she wore for her retirement underneath her royal decorations]]. She yearns for the Savior to return--and entertains the thought of [[HereWeGoAgain plunging Eden into turmoil to do so]].]]

* TenMinuteRetirement: Right after a celebration stopping the Gates in her Love Story, [[AbdicateTheThrone she announces her retirement]] and leaves things to her successor for a [[RefreshinglyNormalLifeChoice quiet civilian life accompanied by the Savior]]. Unfortunately, the Crown of the Sun she wore maintains Solrey's environment with her mana, and ''only'' her mana, so putting aside two other options with vague chances of success, Yuria is left with little choice but to retake the throne to save her kingdom. [[spoiler:This is averted only in her Normal Ending, where she lives with the Savior permanently in his world; the Bad Ending negatively plays it straight where she rules unhappily and alone; and played straight positively in the True Ending, where she rules alongside the Savior with a new system developed to replace the Crown and a proper retirement after.]]

An ominous Humanlike Soul clad in dark armor who seems to have a grudge towards the "fake master" that is the Savior. [[spoiler:It's then later revealed that he is actually named Adam, the very first Soul that humanity gave form to who would later be discarded due to humanity being infatuated with the feminine-formed Soul Eve.]]

The second Soul that humanity gave form, officially considered the only Primal Soul in existence, and Dr. Faust's assistant at her workshop. She has the mysterious power to make any intellectual being fall for her and lose their sense of self trying to satisfy her. She would later fall out of favor though, as she committed a sin that would get her cursed and locked away in a dungeon called the Abyss, underneath what is now the Megalopolis Aurelia.

* IfICantHaveYou: [[spoiler:Humanity wanting their own Eves when Faust refused to create more Souls caused them to lash out and corrupt Eve so that no human could ever have her.]]

** He was killed while protecting everyone (Catherine).

* OneGenderRace: Subverted. The Souls are predominantly female in form due to their origins rooting from the first Soul that humans gave physical form to, named Eve. The male Souls' origin, Adam, was deemed unstable and as such wasn't used as a template for later Souls as much as Eve was.

* ResurrectiveImmortality: Souls do not age, so they can technically live forever. It's only until they're killed in some way do they "die", in the sense that they fall into a deep sleep for an indeterminate amount of time, and when they wake up, [[LaserGuidedAmnesia they end up losing some of their memories]] due to said comatose period. This wouldn't be a problem if the Gate incidents never afflicted Eden in the first place.

* HeadTurningBeauty: Her inherent power makes it so that any intelligent being that lay their eyes on her would be completely head over heels for her, turning their brain into figurative mush while she's in view. She considers this power a {{Curse}} since she cannot create any sort of meaningful relationship due to it, whether it be human or Soul. The only ones who could seemingly resist her power are Dr. Faust and the Savior, provided you guide the latter's decisions to attain either the Normal or True Endings, where he manages to resist the temptations enough to form a meaningful connection with her.

* RacialTransformation: Much like [[Characters/EversoulUndeadSouls Otoha]] before her, the once-Angel Soul Eve was subjected to this trope as well. Due to her committing her "original sin", humanity placed a curse upon her, turning her into a Demon Soul, and subsequently locked her away in an underground dungeon as punishment.

She was the only survivor of the incident that crippled the Ark Metatron's life-support systems and killed almost all humans onboard. She had a short-lived friendship with Mephistopheles until she eventually passed away.

Full name "Amy [[spoiler:Faust]]", she was the only survivor of the incident that crippled the Ark Metatron's life-support systems and killed almost all humans onboard. She had a short-lived friendship with Mephistopheles until she eventually passed away.

* AllInTheManual: Much of her story can be read in the accompanying webcomic, including her GivenNameReveal that the game is so keen on keeping secret. She's only really seen in-game in one Main Story episode, one of Mephistopheles's Love Story episodes, and one of Mephi's Tower of Origin episodes.
* ConnectedAllAlong: If you've never read the webcomic, you'd be surprised to know that Amy is one of [[spoiler:Dr. Faust]]'s daughters.

Full name "Kayrin [[spoiler:Faust]]", she is the "Ruler of Humans" that desires to rid the Earth of the Souls and use their essence to help humanity develop adaptations in order to recolonize Earth for themselves. She also has the same Soul Master ability as the Savior, which she uses to order Souls into doing her bidding. Seems to have a great disdain towards the Souls.

[[spoiler:It's then later revealed that he is actually named Adam, the very first Soul that humanity gave form to who would later be scrapped due to defects in favor of the female-formed Soul Eve.]]

* {{Foil}}: The Savior is essentially the anti-thesis of the "Ruler of Humans" Kayrin:

** The Savior is just a modern human summoned to the age of Souls and given nanomachines to obtain Soul Mastery, while Kayrin is a superhuman from the future whose Soul Mastery is more or less a second nature to her.

* MagicallyIneptFighter: Outside of his powers as a Soul Master, he's not much of a magical sleuth as he appears to be. When you control him during dungeon explorations or when exploring the Town, his basic attack animations consist of him swinging his cane around like a sword, then he's shown doing swordsmanship training with Chloe at the start of Chapter 2, and then the Arena/Battle Log artwork depicts him using his cane like a sword while clashing with the Dark Knight's OneHandedZweihander.

** He does it again in Aki's Love Story, by [[spoiler:letting himself be the sacrifice that would be killed by Aki to break her curse. In her Normal Ending, he barely survives the attack through reckless abandon, the help of a bunch of healing potions, protective gear, and Mephi monitoring his status in case everything goes south]].
** In Bryce's Love Story, it's revealed that [[spoiler:a blood transfusion from him is needed to stabilize Bryce's ANIMA and rid her of her illness once and for all. Bryce worries if it's really worth him endangering the world and/or himself in the process as he only has one life to live and a lot more Souls to save, and for players to get the [[LastSecondEndingChoice True]] [[GuideDangIt Ending]], he HAS to acknowledge the risks that come with the procedure and then say that it's not the worth that drives him, it's his wish to see her get better and enjoy the world]].

* ShipTease: With Queen Yuria. During the events of ''[[AllJustADream "Everschool"]]'', he seems to feel giddy at the idea of him and "student council president" Yuria becoming a romantic pair.

* BadassPacifist: Her combat style is purely a WhiteMage's: she has no attacks whatsoever, as her gimmick revolves around frequently healing and buffing her allies. Despite marching jnto battle with a sword, she spills no blood, leading and supporting her team just as she's always done back when she was [[DePower depowered]]. In one of her Outing topics though, she confesses that [[spoiler:it's actually more due to her believing that [[SuperpoweredEvilSide her alter ego]] [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds Apollyon]] may really come out if she relishes in battle a bit too much]].

* InformedAttribute: Her apparently being the [[WorldsStrongestMan strongest Soul in Eden]]. Outside of some mentions by her subjects, she hasn't really displayed this great power of hers in some shape or form, like flashbacks to her hey-day. It's averted in a rather odd way during the mini-event "Waving Forest of Monsters"; there is a very small chance of you summoning Yuria as a helper Soul against the wave of monsters, and if summoned, she can [[CurbStompBattle curbstomp most of the monsters easily]] (despite her DePower), which helps significantly in racking up points for the final reward.

* ShipTease: With the Savior, due to her role as the Main Story's {{Deuteragonist}}.
** During the events of ''Everschool'', the dream version of her seems to feel giddy at the idea of her and the "new transfer student" becoming a thing. Then, at the last scene of the event story, she reveals (to the audience) that she basically heard him talking in his sleep being all excited about them becoming a couple, and that she doesn't seem to oppose such an idea happening in real life herself.
** She is currently the only Epic Soul whose [[WhatIf Love Story]] starts off in a FlashForward to the Main Story's ending with her and the Savior already being an OfficialCouple, compared to the others who only start having romantic implications near the end of their stories.

* SignificantBirthDate: His birthday is revealed to be September 1[[labelnote:*]]Assigned as "Savior's Day" by the developers[[/labelnote]], the significance of which lies in Korean wordplay: The number 9 translates to "gu"[[labelnote:*]]"구"[[/labelnote]] and the number 1 translates to "won"[[labelnote:*]]"원"[[/labelnote]]. What's the Korean translation for "Savior"? It's "guwonja"[[labelnote:*]]"구원자"[[/labelnote]].
