* ArtisticLicenseShips: Just like the Type 1937J before, the Type 1938Ac never got the approval to be built because of weight issues. In Felix's case, it was the weight and size of the proposed hybrid steam diesel propulsion which resulted in a wacky artillery arrangement and improper balance of the ship. Also, the "Ocean-going destroyer" is kind of a gimmick; many of the German destroyers like the Type 1934 were not exactly designed to the rigorous sailing environment that is the Atlantic (which severely hindered their operational capabilities) to support the large capital ships, which was what the Type 1938Ac was designed for.

In addition, her name (or rather her having a name) goes against the Kriegsmarine practice starting with the Type 1936A class of not giving destroyers names, only hull numbers. Though it's possible that had the "ocean-going destroyer" program gotten underway, their larger size would've resulted in them being deemed important enough to require names.

** On full display as a reference to the circumstances of their creation. Leipzig was one of the last vessels fully built and commissioned before the Nazi Party took power, and used somewhat older technologies (like Krupp cemented armor) in her construction, with a general design eye toward being multi-mission and in tune with Weimar naval sensibilities. Nürnberg, meanwhile, was one of the first vessels ordered by the Nazi government (while they were technically still "Weimar" but already had power), was one of the first vessels to use technologies like the Wotan steel that would define later vessels like Bismarck, and was much more heavily armed and built for total war than Leipzig originally was.Leip launched with a grand total of two additional guns outside of her main turret battery, intended for anti-air use. Nürn, meanwhile, launched with twenty-four such guns, eight of which could also be used as light artillery. As a result, Leipzig has a uniform and color scheme much closer to the K sisters and Fishy is basically a unique rig, while Nürnberg wears a uniform much more in line with the newer, fascist-era Ironbloods and her companion rig shares far more design attributes with later Ironbloods like Roon or the carriers than with Fishy (and is significantly bigger than him).

In addition, Leipzig had an identical main armament (both in terms of the guns and the turrets they were mounted in) to the K sisters, while Nürnberg still had the same nine 15cm guns in triple turrets, but had englarged turrets with thicker armor and an improved loading mechanism that allowed a higher rate of fire. Leip also has the same voice actor as the K sisters, while Nürn does not.

* ArtisticLicenseHistory: Given her introduction, you'd think she was a frail ship from the start, but in actuality, she served well both during the interwar period and during the war (ending up with, arguably, a more impressive service record than her "improved" sister), and the infamous accident with Prinz Eugen happened mere months prior to the end of the war yet became her foremost defining character attribute. Her referring to Eugen as "Eugen-oneechan" in the JP script & audio and generally treating her like a " senpai" is also a little odd, since Leipzig was the senior of the two vessels in age by roughly seven years.

Said incident also hardly indicated that Leipzig had been poorly-built, but simply the substantial difference in size between the two ships (Prinz Eugen was more than double Leipzig[='=]s tonnage) and the angle of the collision. * ImprobableHairstyle: Not obvious on her portrait, but as her full-body art shows, Prinz Heinrich's hair is both very long and very voluminous/thick (to make a braid which falls down to her ankles yet still fan out around her torso, it'd have to be a fair bit longer if worn loose), and thus impractically heavy to keep that length.

Nurnberg's braid, which is much thinner).

* ImpossibleHourglassFigure: Not obvious on her default skin, but in her Spring - Viridescent Lullaby skin, she has notably large bust and shapely thighs, and the cut of her dress's fabric makes her waist look much narrower than it actually is, especially when taken in at a glance.
