* TheBabyOfTheBunch: As Screaming Mimi, she's clearly the youngest, least experienced and just generally dumbest of the Masters of Evil.

* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Screaming Mimi can't understand why Hawkeye chose to quit being a criminal, figuring he must be doing it for the score. By the time she's been Songbird for a few weeks, she manages to figure it out; GoodFeelsGood.

However, ''USM'' Beetle was a ProfessionalKiller and a OneManArmy who was considered as a big threat by SHIELD itself, while this one, like the other Masters of Evil, is depicted as a joke until Zemo steps in.

**By season five, even [[spoiler: Zemo himself claims to have decided he doesn't have to follow in his father's footsteps, intending to leave his old ways behind. During his time in Wakanda, the main conflict between him and the Black Panther is that Zemo wants to ''destroy'' the elder Zemo's research for being too dangerous to use, while Panther believes that it's their best shot at taking down the Shadow Council. Of course, only time will tell if Zemo is sincere - if he's not, he wouldn't be the first villain in the show to put a ''lot'' of time into faking a HeelFaceTurn.]]

[[folder: In General]]]
A new supervillain team who was founded during the TimeSkip between season 2 and 3. They started as a relatively inefficient and harmless group, with potentially dangerous powers, but not smart or coordinated enough to use them to their full potential, meaning they would usually get easily defeated by the Avengers. Eventually however, Baron Zemo contacted them and became their leader, turning them into a genuine threat.
----
* BecomingTheMask: [[spoiler: Most of the team became actual heroes with the exception of Baron Zemo.]]
* CardCarryingVillain: The Masters of ''Evil''. The Avengers frequently like to point out how ridiculously ObviouslyEvil this is.
* HarmlessVillain: They start out as a rather incompetent team the Avengers are unable to take seriously... [[NotSoHarmlessVillain: then Zemo joins them.]]
* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler:Ultimately, the team turns against Zemo, and decide to become real heroes after turning themselves in.]]

->Voiced by: Creator/ElizabethDaily
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: Sort of. [[spoiler:While she did defect in the comics, she still was a TokenEvilTeammate at best who sided with the good guys for selfish reasons and would still engage in less-than-moral actions. Her HeelFaceTurn in this version appears more genuine.]]

* IntangibleMan: Her main ability.

* AdaptationOriginConnection: It's briefly mentioned in "Under Siege" that he used to work for Stark Industries until Tony fired him. In the comic, he had absolutely no relation to either Stark Industries or Iron Man.
* AdaptationalHeroism: [[spoiler:In the comics, Fixer actually sided with Zemo after the Thunderbolts were exposed. Here, he joins the rest of the team in turning on him.]]

->Voiced by: Jesse Burch
----
* EvilCounterpart: To Ant-Man with both serving as size shifters who became giant.

->Voiced by: Creator/JenniferHale
----
* EleventhHourRanger: [[spoiler:First joins the Mighty Avengers during the ''Civil War'' arc, but defects to the old Avengers for the rest of the finale]].
* GreenLanternRing: [[spoiler:As Songbird, her power has been modified by equipment so she can channel her sonic scream into sound-based constructs.]]
* HeelFaceTurn: Twice. First against Baron Zemo while as part of the Masters of Evil, then against Truman Marsh because he forced the Mighty Avengers to detain innocent Inhumans and force them to wear registration disks.
* MakeMeWannaShout: Her power is a powerful sonic scream.

[[folder: Beetle]]
!!Beetle / Mach-IV
->Voiced by: Mark Hanson
----
* CompositeCharacter: He follows the same character arc as the Abe Jenkins Beetle, but his armor comes from the unnamed Latverian Beetle.
* DependingOnTheWriter: He allegedly is the same Beetle that was in ''WesternAnimation/{{Ultimate Spider-Man}}'', down to having the same design. However, ''USM'' Beetle was a ProfessionalKiller and a OneManArmy who was considered as a big threat by SHIELD itself, while this one, like the other Masters of Evil, is depicted as a joke until Zemo steps in.

* MythologyGag: As with ''WesternAnimation/UltimateSpiderMan'', the armor he wears in the show itself is based off his outfit from the Ultimate Spider-Man comic.
* PoweredArmor: All his powers are derived from wearing one. His suit is even modeled after the one worn by the Ultimate comics Beetle, and is heavily armed.
* TheQuietOne: Just like in ''USM'', though he does talk once when alerting everyone about Hawkeye's presence. [[spoiler:This changes after he takes on his heroic persona.]]
