* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Has given his two weeks notice on more than one occasion. One example is when he sees that Dr. Weird is literally talking through his ass and calling himself "Dr. Buttocks".

* AllTakeAndNoGive: Shake's approach to friendship is to demand (or flat-out steal) things from his friends while giving nothing in return. He even admits to this without a lick of shame in "Space Spore".

** Shake tends to run the gamut between a thorough JerkWithAHeartOfJerk, a [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold well-meaning asshole]], or an absolute maniac. The former and latter portrayals are a '''LOT''' more common, but it still applies.

** Shake tends to run the gamut between a thorough JerkWithAHeartOfJerk, a [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold well-meaning asshole]], or an absolute maniac. The former and latter portrayals are a '''LOT''' more common, but it still applies. Generally, his morality is inversely proportional to the other two Aqua Teens, often acting as the OnlySaneMan whenever either Meatwad or Frylock go off the deep end.

* DepravedBisexual: He's implied to be bisexual and he's ''Shake'', meaning he falls into this by default. He has an extremely derogatory view of women and [[BestialityIsDepraved has a bestiality fetish]], even sleeping with numerous zombie gay gorillas in "Reedickyoulos" ([[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext yes, really]]).

** In "Video Ouiji", he kills himself in an attempt to torment Meatwad through the eponymous video game. Unfortuntely, Meatwad grows bored of the game by the time he does so.

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: In the first episode, Shake takes one look at Carl's destroyed car and illogically concludes that [[BlatantLies meteors did it]]. Later, Shake goes and remorselessly stomps on Meatwad's boombox while proclaiming "[[CharacterCatchphrase Dancing is forbidden!]]", setting up his {{Jerkass}} nature.

Added DiffLines:

** In "The Shaving", he mocks Willie Nelson by implying that [[AllGaysLoveTheater he's done Broadway]], only to spend the rest of the episode effectively making Willie Nelson act out a script.

Added DiffLines:

* LackOfEmpathy: In "Super Birthday Snake", he shows only halfhearted concern to Frylock after he accidentally killed Shake and Meatwad, and couldn't even be bothered to make a casserole in condolence, instead giving Frylock an already opened-up Fruit Roll-Up.

Added DiffLines:

** He later installs a laser defense grid around his house in "Frat Aliens", that works almost perfectly in keeping the Aqua Teens out of his pool for the whole episode and never backfires on him by the end. While it does attract the titular Frat Aliens as well, this effectively distracts the Aqua Teens from trying to dig under the grid. But as with the previous example, [[NegativeContinuity he loses this grid in later episodes]].

Added DiffLines:

** Additionally, when prank-calling a pizza place to order 50 million pizzas to the Mooninites' ship, Oglethorpe makes sure to at least get them pizzas he thought they would like.
--> '''Oglethorpe:''' "I'm not Satan."

Added DiffLines:

* WithFriendsLikeThese: After accidentally stranding D.P. on Earth, Skeeter puts no effort into getting him back, and tries to make the Aqua Teens somehow come to his planet instead.

Added DiffLines:

* KnightOfCerebus: The final moments of his debut episode are FAR more unsettling than the rest of the series up to the point, and completely lack any kind of humor. It's very telling that Nelson doesn't show up much afterwards.
