* Continuing from his earlier anger with the Vancouver Police Department, Marcus gets [[TakeThat a hell of a jab]] at the frankly bizzare decisions of the judge presiding over the case. Right off the bat, the judge decided to deny the count of the "Jane Doe" whose skull was found in a swamp on the grounds that they never identified the remains, which basically translates to [[UnfortunateImplications "it's totally cool to kill someone just so long as nobody notices they're gone"]]. Marcus [[KirkSummation sums it up perfectly]]:

!! Episode 347: Mark Twitchell Part II - Some Kinda Ketchup Party
* The way Mark Twitchell was caught was deliciously ironic - he was [[HoistByHisOwnPetard fooled by a fake online persona]], the same way he lured in his own victims, leading to the ''amazingly'' cathartic scene of him being [[LaserGuidedKarma jumped by a white van full of tactical officers on the way to the alleged meet-up]]. Marcus' growing glee as he describes the chain of events really makes it, as does Henry's delight.

* Marcus wastes absolutely no time in [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech tearing into the L.A police department]] for failing to properly prosecute Alcala for the brutal rape and attempted murder of Tali Shapiro, instead only jailing him on child molestation charges for barely two years. He further emphasises the sheer incompetence of Alcala's parole officer, who knew full well that Alcala was a convicted child rapist, ''and yet still'' allowed him to roam across the country, giving him the opportunity to continue his murder spree for years. Marcus's hatred of [[PoliceAreUseless shoddy police work]] is on full display throughout the entire episode, and the fact that this incompetence allowed more people, including children, to be hurt by Alcala only seems to fuel his anger more.

* Marcus gives special props to John Stark of the Third Relief, who [[TheDeterminator refused to leave anyone at "Starved Camp" behind]] when everyone else was in favour of leaving them to die after witnessing the cannibalism that occured there. He goes into detail about how Stark [[FriendToAllChildren carried the children back]], and caps it off by saying the man deserved a statue for his bravery and determination.[[/folder]]

* Ben tells the story of his time serving on a grand jury in Brooklyn for a sexual assault case. The case included clear video evidence of the assault and Ben knew they should recommend the case go to trial. However, [[JerkAss one of the jurors]] opened deliberations by engaging in some awful [[UsefulNotes/VictimBlaming Victim Blaming]] ("Why was she out so late?", "Why was she wearing a dress that short?", "Why was she drunk?", etc). Ben verbally ripped that man a new one badly enough that he was known as 'the scary white guy' for the rest of his time serving on the jury. He also skillfully uses the story to make a point about how [[UsefulNotes/VictimBlaming Victim Blaming]] and SlutShaming are still huge problems when it comes to pursuing charges in sex crimes, which allowed Ramirez to get away with what he did.
