*** All For One proved time and again that he would endlessly "cheat" his way out of a genuine defeat or loss no matter how many times he suffered one. Fittingly, the heroes and villains finish him for good by choosing to "cheat" themselves; distracting All For One's focus with the one thing in the world that can, and then one-sidedly ganking him from behind when his guard's down. There's no climatic clash, no named attack as a FinishingMove, no BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind, no warning, no giving All For One a single chance to defend himself or voice any final words... there isn't even a double-page spread to commemorate his loss. Everyone's simply ''done'' with him, and waste no time snuffing out his existence at the first opportunity without regret, remorse, or anything less than annoyance for the parasitical headache that's long overstayed its welcome.
** Outside in reality, it's shown that Tomura's attack allowed him to re-assert control over his remaining limb, jerking the fingers down to cover the PowerPalms opening, denying All For One even the ''slimmest'' chance of slipping away into Izuku at the last second and escaping his fate. The resultant PunchParry becomes a symbolic fist-bump between the two [[ArchEnemy fated heroes of different sides]] and a point of contact that allows Izuku to share one last conversation with Tomura as his mind and body vanish for good. Izuku admits he couldn't forgive Tomura's rampage against his allies, but he also understand that Tomura ''wanted'' to be stopped deep down, so the sadness and suffering he endured wouldn't be passed onto another. Tomura can only give a [[ActuallyPrettyFunny slight laugh]] at his enemy's deep understanding of his own confused emotional state before giving Izuku a final message to pass onto Spinner: that he might have failed to destroy everything like his follower wished to see, but he ''never'' stopped fighting to achieve that. Izuku affirms that he succeeded in wiping out the true source of his endless hatred at the last moment as Tomura fades into the ether, a horrible monster to the world, but a true hero to his friends and enemy who understood him the most, "saved" in the end like Izuku wanted.

** As their attacks are mid-collision, inside the Vestige Realm, All For One's attention is distracted by a faint flickering light, like a candle stub about to go out -- [[NotQuiteDead the last remnant of Yoichi's vestige]] now remaining inside his brother's Quirk after his fatal collision with Tomura's core, re-awakened to consciousness by Izuku's injection from the embers of One For All. Despite this, it's only enough to allow Yoichi to speak for a little bit with his brother before his inevitable vanishing, much to All For One's distress. Re-assuming his human visage, All For One desperately begs/demands his brother's shade not to vanish, sincerely admitting that he's nothing without Yoichi by his side, having undergone some actual CharacterDevelopment from the shock of losing him twice over. However, even that fails to dissuade him from his desire to be an all-powerful evil villain or genuinely regret his choices... which is [[BeyondRedemption what Yoichi was expecting]]. After all, he's ''not'' here to try one last time to redeem his brother, but to ''distract him''.

*** Furthermore, Yoichi finally claims the one victory over All For One that has eluded him for over a century: That his brother has some good inside of him. Warped, distorted and toxically possessive, but despite his obsession with being purely evil, All For One's love for his twin was ultimately his greatest motivation in the world, no matter how much he self-deluded his own perception of reality. Despite the fact that he accepted his brother to be BeyondRedemption and deserving punishment for his crimes, Yoichi dies content knowing that he was right about his brother in the end, much to All For One's dismay.

Got a little confused between the two times Izuku was menaced by Kurogiri during that arc

*** The framing and positioning of all four of them calls back to [[BookEnds Izuku's interference on Tomura's last attempt to kill All Might back at the USJ arc]], only when Bakugo interfered that time, it was to showcase his own skills as a hero, brushing off Izuku's effort as unnecessary (and indeed, if not for him, Tomura stood a chance of Decaying Izuku through Kurogiri's warping). This time, thanks to his CharacterDevelopment, Bakugo instead interferes to allow ''Izuku'' to be the hero, stopping Kurogiri's interference from giving All For One any chance of avoiding his doom against the boy who so utterly humiliated him.

** Izuku's final word to All For One. As their attacks strike towards the other, Izuku reveals that the same [[SympathyForTheDevil empathic understanding of Tomura's innate goodness]] also allowed him to understand All For One's true motivation underneath all his ranting and obsession with comic-book supervillainy...and yet he uses that same understanding to express his '''[[EvenTheLovingheroHasHatedOnes absolute contempt]]''' of him. Far from being an inscrutable, purely evil being, All For one is still in the end just a mere man, no matter how much he pretends otherwise or the lengths he goes to deny this, and that same inherent humanity and the fallibility that comes with being a "mere mortal" means that All For One will never be able to conquer the heroes, because he denies that he has the very human weaknesses that allowed them to out-wit him in the end. This seems to hurt and humiliate All For One worse than anything he's endured over the course of the war, having a mere boy understand his innermost self and deride him for the weakness he so desperately tried to erase.

*** Despite the logical fallacy of letting a nearly-powerless child fight against such a powerful force that can match an entire army alone, Aizawa doesn't stand in Izuku's way. Instead he merely provides him enough first aid treatment with the supplies from the refugees to allow him to stand on his own once more. Aoyama likewise stands at Izuku's side, helping him to his feet to charge at All For One together, claiming that they ''need'' Izuku's strength as much as he needs theirs -- and it's clearly the kind of strength that All For One can never steal, unrelated to Quirks or superpowers. Wearing the t-shirt from the refugee who Izuku promised the heroes would restore the normal livelihood of the civilians to, Izuku no longer resembles a hero in costume, but just a young boy....but unlike when he ran to rescue Bakugou, this time he runs forward with the voices of support pushing him onwards, Eri, Kota, Gran Torino and countless other all expressing the same sentiment.

*** Furthermore, Yoichi finally claims the one victory over All For One that has eluded him for over a century: that his brother has some good inside of him. Despite the fact that he accepted his brother to be BeyondRedemption and deserves to be punished for his crimes, Yoichi dies content knowing that he was right about his brother in the end, much to All For One's expense.

*** All For One proved time and again that he would endlessly "cheat" his way out of a genuine defeat or loss no matter how many times he suffered one. Fittingly , the heroes and Villains finish him for good by choosing to "cheat" themselves; distracting All For One's focus with the one thing in the world that can, and then one-sidedly ganking him from behind when his guard's down. There's no climatic clash, no BattleInTheCentreOfTheMind, no forewarning, no options for giving All For One a single chance to defend himself or voice any final words, not even a double-page spread to commemorate his loss. Everyone is simply '''done''' with him, and waste no time is snuffing out his existence at the first opportunity without regret, remorse, or anything less than annoyance for a parasitical headache that's long overstayed its welcome.

Re-assuming his human visage, All For One desperately begs/demands his brother's shade not to vanish, sincerely admitting that he's nothing without Yoichi by his side, having undergone some actual CharacterDevelopment form the shock of losing him twice over. However, even that fails to dissuade him from his desire to be an all-powerful evil villain or genuinely regret his choices...which is [[BeyondRedemption what Yoichi was expecting]]. After all, he's ''not'' here to try one last time to redeem his brother, but to ''distract him''.

*** Even better, All For One notes that Tomura's body isn't using Hyper Regeneration anymore on even the minor injuries caused by the heroes' attacks on his shell, sturdy and apparently impervious as it seems. Whether it's because it's over-taxed by the continuous damage done to him from the inside-out by One For All or if the body simply has no more vitality left in it to heal with from all the abuse it's been put through, it implies that even without Izuku's final effort, the accumulated "side characters" that All For One so derides as unimportant would have been [[DeathByAThousandCuts equally capable of killing him eventually]] even without the strength of the final user of One For All: Izuku merely sped up his inevitable defeat in a single instant. Plus, with Izuku's heroic charge inspiring even international heroic aid, All For One's destruction would have been a ''certainty'' one way or another, all that's to a "powerless" boy's defiance of him.

** Outside in reality, it's shown that Tomura's attack allowed him to re-assert control over his remaining limb, jerking the fingers down to cover the PowerPalms opening, so as to deny All For One even the tiniest chance of slipping away into Izuku at the last second mid-attack and leaving him no means to squirm out of his fate. The PunchParry becomes a symbolic fist-bump between the two [[ArchEnemy fated heroes of different sides]] and a point of contact that allows Izuku to share one last conversation with Tomura as his mind and body vanish for good.
