I only managed to make it through a season of this show. The writers rely heavily on idiot plots and characters often forget how to apply their powers.
The biggest twist of season one is blatantly given away by the 4th episode, only for the show to continue to tease us until episode 8. Numerous plotholes abound, such as why so few precautions were taken with incarcerating a known magical hypnotist. Generally, the Idiotball is tossed around like candy at a parade. Several episodes could have been solved by strategic use of powers that were revealed later or used previously.
Another other strange stylistic choice that got to me was Prock treating "Doctor" and "Professor" as different distinctions when most Profs have doctorates. Further, he doesn't actually seem to be a professor. A lot of names and allusions half hint at a punchline but never follow through, which makes it feel less like a joke and more like a kid making up cool sounding names as they go. With few exceptions, the shows jokes fell flat. Even the ones which worked weren't particularly hilarious or clever.
I've seen Children's shows treat its audience with more respect for their intelligence. On the otherhand, this show is clearly not aimed at kids.
Over all, what got me so far is that many of the characters had some spark of potential and an interesting pilot. Unfortunately, it failed to deliver on every count.
