For someone who grew up on early 2000s Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network with reruns of 1990s Nick and CN, Pie Guy Rulz was the first YouTuber that I found who reviewed a lot of the stuff I grew up with. I saw MoBrosStudios' SpongeBob lists, and one of the related videos was the first entry in Pie-Guy's Every Episode of SpongeBob Reviewed series.
At the time, only seasons 1 and 2 were reviewed, but after watching more of his rants, I was hooked (THE HOOKS!) and subscribed. At the time, he didn't have many subscribers. But since then his popularity has grown signfigantly, and it's been a great joy to see him rise in success, all while staying humble and modest.
I love his videos so much, I went as far as to create this very Tropes page for him. He seemed to like it.
EDIT: Also, as of December 31st 2015, I am a chat moderator for PGR's livestreams. I am honored to say the least.
