When Masahiro Sakurai (Creator of Kirby and Director of Super Smash Bros) first announced that he was making a youtube channel, i bet most of us just rapidly subscribed to him with no further detail. And it took most of us a bit to realize that it is Exactly What It Says In The Tin, A series of videos of Sakurai sharing his insight into the world of game making (With a few exceptions). You might be a fan of Sakurai's work but you aren't in the fairly nieche audience of surface level Game Design 101, this channel will mostly do nothing for you besides maybe the videos about creating his games.
On the other hand, i am in the fairly nieche audience of surface level Game Design 101, and having Sakurai explain parts of game making in a concise and charismatic manner is both very interesting and very entertaining to me. And even if gaming isn't your forte, there are videos here that can very easily apply to other professions as well (especially the ones in the Work Ethic and Team Management categories). There might be takes that you don't particularly agree with, but hey that isn't really a bad thing, the channel isn't supposed to be the place for the absolute truth of game design, It's just Sakurai showing you the ropes on creating games, and i think that's neat.
