This review was published when the game was in v0.1.1.2.6 (most likely the final update, but mentioning just in case).
Theme: Homestuck. While the game does not reference the comic characters or locations directly, it does use core concepts from it very well.
Gameplay and core mechanics: The game's split into three phases. The first is about twelve aspects that you unlock as you play, with them mostly playing like a standard TMT game with upgrades, milestones, and challenges (but each one also has some mechanics to keep things fresh and there are some dualities), and a Skaia layer with leveling up and a stock market (most conventionally enjoyable). The second has a bunch of buyables based on aspects, classes, and prospit/derse, where the numbers grow quite a bit faster and you have to complete sign rows (weakest). The third is about a single layer where point gain inflates tremendously and the game becomes about gaining special resources by reaching three limitations (metaness/points/time) and managing a bunch of other buyables (most interesting).
Balancing and difficulty: Slightly challenging and slow. A lot of layers require you to grind before you can proceed, with some challenges being particularly nasty. One challenge was really interesting in how it handicaps the player and how progression in it was made possible, but it eventually stopped classifying as one due to how it worked. However, the game's also pretty generous with giving power gain percentages. The second phase lacks challenges or meaningful choices, but it does have a great amount of mashing. Some parts of the third phase have you figure out how to progress or what upgrades to pick, though sometimes it may get stuck and force you to reset just to get multipliers to work. When you're near the end of each phase, the only thing you can really do is wait and buy something every once in a while, which is lame.
Content on offer: Slightly long, with 17 nicely-sized layers (the last one is particularly large as it's the entire third phase). Likely to take a bit over two days of playtime.
Polish and miscellaneous additions: The game has a very original UI style with its font and windows. There are two special themes related to The Felt and Trickster (I really liked the former). The game has a background once you progress enough which was really neat. Upgrade/milestone/challenge names are written in Daedric alphabet which may result in trouble reading them, but it's far from necessary and you can always copy/paste. There's a save bank in case you want to skip a part or return near a lost save. A few typos.
Ultimately, the game has several strong ideas and lots of charm, plus a lot of content to keep you occupied, but it's quite flawed in some aspects (heh). Still, I don't think they're bad enough to pass this or warrant using the save bank.
