Well, when I first began the game, I was in a not-that-open state of mind, wanting a game that was better than the others of his category, and I only stopped playing dragonica then, so I was pleasantly surprised by the french community (was playing the french version of the game) due to it being mature enough to not be fraught with dickery, letting me appreciate and discover the game at a leisurely pace, which was quite essential in order to REALLY know my class, a Wind Sneaker, also, I found the storyline easy to follow, but not half-done for a game still in progress. Then came popularity, and with it the decay of the community. It is not often said, one of the reasons older gamers are frustrated to the point of being pissed off by newbies is the fact that they don't know how to handle losing in most cases, well some do, but the others are why sometimes, being called a 12 years old brat is an insult. Also the Pv P system has virtually no rules other than the obvious ones (don't cheat and other rules of this effect) but people still treat it as if there were, look, I can appreciate a good self-imposed challenge, such as a no-item battle or no healing (in this game, healing is next to inexistant in the P Cs' skills), but please don't rage about if the other player doesn't play by the same rules, also skills are there to be used, something the players sometimes forget; well the gameplay is solid for what it is, but due to the lack of popularity, events are not in spades, and some of them are turned into some of the most absurd farmfests you will find in a MMO. All in all, I would give it a B grade for the gameplay and story themselves, but a D- for the community, may it be in europe or in america.
VideoGame Quite nice, but don't expect too much from the community
