Aside from a few little details, I thought the movie was pretty good. The characters were believable, the scares were effective and not just an endless series of Jump Scares like a lot of these movies go for, and there was a genuine atmosphere of terror and the legit feeling that anyone could die at damn near any moment. The setting, while relying on the tradition of shooting at night to amp up the fear, was good at recreating the situation of plane crash survivors trying to survive as they are hunted one by one.
The ending shot, however, was the weak point. It was the pointless tripe that gives Found Footage films a bad name. Out of nowhere, Behind the Black nonsense that only serves to throw a cheap Jump Scare at us after a legitimately terrifying climax. Overall, I'd say it was an 8/10, so long as you ignore the fucking T. Rex from nowhere.
Film Not bad...until the last 5 seconds
