If you're a fan of Mike, Zoey, and/or their relationship, you MUST read this fanfic. Heck, even if you're not a fan of either characters or their relationship, I would still recommend it. This fic actually executes the character, his relationship with Zoey, and the depiction of his mental disorder far better than the actual show did, while still shining a light on the reasons why Mike and his relationship with Zoey has fans despite the hot-button nature of the two characters and their romance. The results are genuinely engaging, emotional, and at times shocking. Heck, if this fic was what canon gave us in regards to Mike, he would be my favourite character and I don't think he would arouse as much controversy as he does with the fanbase.
