I'm from Chile, and I knew Palomita since I was a child, then the comic strips were funny for me, but when I grew up I found it even funnier because now I understood better the sex jokes implied on Palomita. Eduardo De La Barra was a genius, apart of Palomita there was another creation I loved from him: El Piola y el Jaiba which are 2 detectives who saw murder cases where the reader has to discover how the victim was killed (or to prove wasn't suicide). Palomita always will be in our hearts, since when Eduardo died, Palomita died with him. At least there's the legacy of Palomita in old versions of La Cuarta website here and here, all in spanish, of course.
ComicStrip Palomita (and Eduardo) will be missed
