No offense intended at the creator of the trope page, but its genres with vague-sounding and admittedly unclear descriptions like these that make me think people just like coining terms for things.
I don't think there is a single work out there that needs or benefits from being called "low fantasy." I went to refresh my memory what high vs low fantasy was and ran smack dab into "the latter is vaguely-defined but is basically a setting where magic isn't prevalent."
And then I googled it and heard it's also called "intrusive fantasy."
