I would have wanted to add that the Children Internet Protection Act was withdrawn on 1 July 2004 because of a supreme court ruling in 2003 (American Libraries Association vs. United States Inc.) that annotated that the Children Internet Protection act violates the rights laid down in the First Amendment.
