So lately, I\'ve been wondering if Broodmother might qualify for some degree of AntiVillain. It\'s true that she portrays herself as villainous in some of her lines, and the descriptions in her The Brood Queen and Steelweb of Pytheos item sets seem to imply that she doesn\'t have the highest morals. However, her back story states that she has been perfectly content to remain underground and raise her young for at least a millennia. (Speaking of perhaps Really 700 Years Old should be added) And even when Ptholopthales constructed his lodestone ziggurat thingy and started attracting adventurers, (This location being chosen with the intend of using her spider young to drive them off by the way) Broodmother\'s first action was to attempt to negotiate a compromise, only resorting to violence when he refused to listen. So I think it would be safe to argue that all Broodmother wants is for her and her young to be left alone and that any evil acts she commits is done with the intent of keeping her young safe.
