I hate the 80\'s. I find \'\'WesternAnimation/RegularShow\'\' to be an otherwise great show that\'s bogged down by frequent 80\'s references (and yes, I do understand a large amount of it, as I was alive during then), and that there are so many 80\'s references in \'\'Ready Player One\'\' (well, that\'s what people say) is turning me off from it. Is it likely I\'ll enjoy this book? That is, does it have enough merit as a story outside of the 80\'s references for it to be enjoyable?

Okay, I read through this page because I wanted a more detailed explanation of what this book is about, as I just gone a copy of it over [=LootCrate=]. It seems that this book, and the author by extension, seems to be in love with the 80\'s.
