First of all, being a police officer is not the only reason he fights for good. He\'s been fighting for good since he joined he Avatar. second, Mako does indeed hate varrick, because Varrick framed him. Even in book 3 Varrick may not be a villain anymore, but Mako still. Hates Varrick for having framed him. So I want to point out that it\'s quite innacurate to say that Mako doesn\'t hate Varrick. The only thing that\'s personal to Mako was when Varrick framed him.
