What we could do is create new sub pages such that the Characters pages would only be for playable characters, and then a new Sub Characters page for Assist trophies, adventure mode/smash run enemies, stage hazards and potentially move the boss characters there too. as they debuted by game, SubCharacters64, SubCharactersMelee etc. etc.
