The problem with Bach`s toccata and fugue in d minor, is simply that it may not be written by Bach at all. Or - it was rewritten for organ by another, possibly originating as a piece for solo violin. But even so, the work is too short, even for a Bach fugue, that it should not have been listed here. Probably better to put it on the hitlist and known ditties. Compared to other organ works of Bach, like the greater fugue in G minor, it just doesn`t fit as a magnum opus at all.
