I know the trope repair shop thread died from lack of interest, but Muscles Are Meaningful is not a good name for this page. It is supposed to be about larger characters \'\'needing\'\' to be slower and stronger and \'\'needing\'\' to \"look\" strong [[RuleOfPerception for the sake of the audience.]] As said, {{the giant}} will be portrayed this way even if mostly fat, this isn\'t \'\'just\'\' for muscles.

This also hold the opposite meaning about smaller characters being agile and all that, that\'s why [[http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ReyMisteriovsGreatKhali.jpg The Great Khali]] was a much better page image than Venom, who is doing something highly athletic by swinging on that line. His example even mentions he is a {{subver|ted trope}}sion of this trope and you know he was only put on this page because it has \"muscles\" in the title, even that that is only partially what the page is about.

In fact, a lot of the examples are \'\'just\'\' this guy has big muscles and is strong, which itself isn\'t so much a trope as it is realism. When the muscular characters are all slow, non dexterous, etc in addition to being strong or a bunch of characters are drawn hyper muscular for no real reason, then they will be worth mentioning. I think those example \'\'only\'\' come because of the name.
