There\'s something off about the Not Love Interest trope. Mainly the fact that Dangan Island is used to show that they\'re just friends. [[spoiler: The problem is Komaeda in Dangan Island is not the same one from the main game. It takes him 50 days to ask Hinata to be his friend which doesn\'t mean the love interest part is removed at all. It simply just means that he\'s incapable of going farther than that at the end compared to the girls who would go straight to dating instead of being friends (unless your Peko).]] Plus canon material should be more important than what happens in an alternate universe that isn\'t canon.
