I removed it, and the first poster restored it. Nico does not harm herself because of a mental disorder but because of this reason; she does not like to do it this way, and seeks alternatives when she can (such as brushing her teeth badly, the blood shed from her gums works just as well).
Back to the page: the point is that the 1ยบ power of the character in Avengers Alliance is an adaption of that aspect of the comic book character. It is not a reference to self-harming, and the original poster wrote this simply because he did not understand what was it all about. So, it should be removed.
