Why the damn hell should Shaman King and Soul Eater not count?
First of all, even though Shaman King has a tournament, the majority of Yoh and his friends formed a FiveManBand when they completed the first half of the tournament and were on break freeing Ren/Len from his father. They were all friends and in both the manga and anime, and they weren\'t in one-on-one fights. Seven out of the nine main characters were fighting in three-man-teams. All five to nine main characters had goals to stop Zeke/Hao and at least half of them were trying to aid one of the other main characters to win or stop the main villain and his cohorts from winning. Shaman King\'s main characters were a five-man band to the end. And Ryu is the big guy. He\'s physically the strongest of the group, and his Oversouls and furyoku are stronger than a majority of most of the shamans in the tournament, higher than even people in the X-Laws and a couple of Zeke\'s followers.
Horohoro is more the heart. And Anna is the chick. She\'s the only girl in the group, and secretly the most emotional of the group.
And don\'t critizing Soul Eater either. So what if it was Meisters and Weapons. Weapons in Soul Eater still count as people. And there are group of five-man bands on this website with more than seven members, yet this one has to be the one that gets deleted.(Chaotic Novelist, your technically a hypocrite for this.
