Fixed. The [[WhatPageTypesMean page type]] was set to \\\"trope+index\\\", so it was indexing the list it found. Changing it to just \\\"trope\\\" solved that.
However, I think the indexing was meant to be for the bands. To make it index them but not the tropes, wrap [[index]] [[/index]] tags around the band list only and set the page type to \\\"trope+index\\\". That \\\'\\\'should\\\'\\\' work.
