Creatures with lots of fat and little muscle may float where one with the same total weight would sink; it\'s all a matter of comparing your volume with the weight of an equivalent volume of water.

Since additional density often comes \\\'\\\'from\\\'\\\' muscles, it can thus cancel itself out.
