well the lack of [[DoingInTheWizard genuine]] magic and gods is a [[HowUnscientific genre convention]], DoctorWho is softer than jelly pudding, but still science fiction. as for if they Religion (or lack therefor) in the far future i don\'t know if it ever came up, but like star trek he may of simply lacked creative control to sate his opinions outright.
