Edit: Okay, serious time now. Why was a JustForFun page cut? On the whole, it was a pretty clever section. Sure, it occasionally added to the creation of Snowclones, but I felt that it on the whole was a pretty inventive way of self-mockery. It mocked the creation of some tropes to a degree, and it did eventually produce a few decent trope names. It could be move it to the DarthWiki, but it doesn\'t really fit there, although it might be harder to find. I don\'t really find it to be any more of a problem than half the other JustForFun pages we have on the main site.

No, no its not. most of the American fleet was dlployed there. the only meaningful allied support was a small british force, which was helpful, and a number of australian vessals. But what defeated the Japanese navy was the American fleets. there were a good ten-twenty full sized carriers, numerous battle ships, then dozens of cruisers destroyers ect. and hundreds of other american vessals.
Now im not saying the other allies did nothing but the pacific was mainly a American vs Japanese affair.
