While I was in favor of having these at first, I no longer am. These tropes are actually the authors showing instead of telling, generic cuteness, sometimes author appeal, and just plain reflecting reality. No symbolic meaning, no subtext. For me, a good sign that a trope was well established was when the person doing the description could say \

For me, a good sign that a trope was well established was when the person doing the description could say \\\"In real life (...), but in media (...)\\\". I don\\\'t think that can be done with these entries (and not just these three, I mean a multitude of others inside this wiki are not actually tropes, like for example, FlippingTheBird).
