I know I\'m waaaaay late, but...\'\'why\'\' was this index phased out? It seems to me like a much better system than just sticking one\'s own works into regular namespaces like Literature and Film. I know ThereIsNoSuchThingAsNotability, but it was so much more organized and less awkward that way. I know if I wrote something original (as opposed to a fanfic), I\'d much rather have it in a TroperWorks-type namespace than putting it in Literature...heck, I\'d probably prefer to put a fanfic in there than in Fanfic. This way would make me feel like a self-important SmallNameBigEgo, and it\'s harder to find other tropers\' work if I want to see what my fellow tropers have done without sifting through lists containing mostly bestseller books and big-budget series.
