\\\"WMG: The reason that Samus and Adam seem [[CharacterDerailment out of character]] is because they are both off their medication.]]
Samus\\\' actions and dialogue in Metroid Fusion indicate that she is ordinarily much more headstrong and independent than she is in Metroid: Other M. Hell, in Fusion, she even tries to buck Adam\\\'s orders, in spite of the fact that she more or less waits on him hand and foot in Other M. Similarly, Computer!Adam seems much less cruel, more charismatic, and more willing to listen to what Samus has to say than his biological counterpart is. The reason that Samus is off her meds is because in the midst of her mourning over the baby metroid and zooming throughout the galaxy, she forgot to buy more pills; the combination of her lack of medication and stressful situation has reduced Samus to an emotional wreck who craves Adam\\\'s approval and acceptance at any cost. Similarly, Bio!Adam lost his medication a week before he arrived at the bottle ship, and he didn\\\'t have time to get a new prescription filled. Without his medication, Bio!Adam is a control freak who may have Bipolar Disorder. When Bio!Adam\\\'s brain was uploaded to a computer, he was currently on his meds, explaining why Computer!Adam was psychologically more stable, less of an asshole to Samus, and was able to be convinced to join her in betraying their superiors\\\' orders for the greater good. Finally, it should be noted that Sakamoto was not taking HIS pills when he wrote Metroid: Other M.\\\"

Only to find it removed. The person who removed it claimed it was a \\\"rant disguised as a WMG\\\". How is this not a legitimate guess? It is perfectly plausible that two people in mankind\\\'s future could normally be on medication, and could be temporarily off it, and thus be less stable than expected. Hell, being a person who IS on medication, I think I understand that better than many. Moreover, it explains a lot about why Samus and Adam seem so different in the latest game when compared to how they were in Metroid Fusion. I\\\'m putting this back in the Wild Mass Guessing section, but without the end bit about Sakamoto, because that\\\'s not really in universe. If it needs to be removed, please direct me towards WMG guidelines that say so.

Edit: I changed the language of the WMG a bit.
