@SchizoTechnician That is true, but does not invalidate my point. The existence, or lack thereof, of a deity is the realm of philosophy, not science. Scientific evidence may lead us one way or the other, but it cannot test the existence of a deity directly. Proving that said divinity doesn\'t punish people only disproves (or at least weakens) a given conception of that deity.
