If Charles Dickens intended to make Ebenezer Scrooge Jewish, then A Christmas Carol would have been very different. He would have explicitly called Scrooge a Jew (just like what he did with Fagin in Literature/OliverTwist), give them Hebrew surnames, not say that Scrooge celebrated Christmas as a child, and have all of Scrooge\'s relatives be Jewish. Plus he would have used physical descriptions that were different from what I described above.
