The removal was questioned with how much \\\"deliberate and intentional\\\" is required.

From what I\\\'ve seen in my 5+ years on tvtropes any of the following would help justify \\\"deliberate and intentional\\\".

1) Best is a quote/reference from someone on the creative team that specifically says \\\"yes we intended the thing in our work to to be a shout-out to B.\\\"

2) Second best is if a member or members of the creative team for thing A have also worked on thing B, then it\\\'s easy to justify there\\\'s some cross-over references at play even if no-one says so directly.

3) If the thing done in work A is a very, very strong copy of the thing in work B so it can\\\'t be dismissed as a simple coincidence.

For example, in \\\'\\\'Revelations\\\'\\\' the doorway from Subternia to Preternia has a very strong resemblance to the Doors of Durin from \\\'\\\'The Fellowship of the Ring\\\'\\\'. That strong visual along with reports from Kevin that many on his writing team were Tolkien fans, justifies the shout-out without needing to literally hear \\\"the door was a shout-out to the Doors of Durin\\\".

In this case, the scene in \\\'\\\'Iron Man 2\\\'\\\' does not look exactly like the shot from \\\'\\\'Revelations\\\'\\\'. There is a similarity in that both feature a hero with lasers on their arms/hands spinning in the circle to take down a lot of mooks.

In \\\'\\\'Iron Man 2\\\'\\\', Tony was surrounded 360 degrees and had to spin in a circle to get all the drones. He even had to tell Rhodey to get down to avoid being cut in half. The shot starts level with Tony, then pulls back to show the lasers cutting into the drones.

In \\\'\\\'Revelations\\\'\\\', Adra is flanked by mooks in a 180 degree half-circle in front of her. She spins in a circle because it looks cool but the lasers that sweep behind her are firing on nothing. Plus as she starts to fire it shifts to a nearly overhead shot to show the mooks being cut apart. Unfortunately it also shows that she pulls this maneuver while surrounded by other Eternians fighting Mooks around her but somehow her lasers only affect her mooks and no one else.

Of course the two shots are SIMILAR but are they exactly the same to remove any doubt that they lifted the scene from \\\'\\\'Iron Man 2\\\'\\\'? I\\\'d say no. The animation was done by Powerhouse Animation which did \\\'\\\'Castlevania\\\'\\\'. Anime is not my strong point, but I\\\'d find it hard to believe this circle-sweep move has never been done in any Anime before now that the Powerhouse team could have been inspired by instead of \\\'\\\'Iron Man 2\\\'\\\'.

So unless there\\\'s some confirmation from items 1 or 2 above, I say this isn\\\'t a clear shout-out to \\\'\\\'Iron Man 2\\\'\\\' and the entry should be removed.
