The 20-year gap was implemented to make sure that examples truly stand the test of time. I think the page would benefit from a slightly shorter gap (15 years, maybe?), but that would require ane extensive discussion that tropers are unlikely (if not outright unwilling) to underetake right now, due to other issues and matters happening.
