@Kilyle, as someone who is very pro-life, I think these exceptions get brought up--most often--to gain traction with the \\\"mushy middle.\\\" I don\\\'t think that children of rape or incest \\\'\\\'are\\\'\\\' an exception. All unborn are people, and therefore deserve protection under the law, and it is hardly a child\\\'s fault if they have a rapist parent. Unfortunately, not everyone gives this issue the thought it deserves, and a rape exception sounds good to a lot of people. It\\\'s also probable that, at this point, any legislating would have to be done with those exceptions in there or else be killed altogether. That may change in the future, as America is becoming more and more pro-life (thank goodness), but it\\\'s slow going.
