But I don\\\'t agree that FranchiseOriginalSin needs to constantly add the other side of a given argument. The WhatCouldHaveBeen page sure doesn\\\'t feel the need to give the other side of the argument a fair shake while explaining the rationale for cutting things! Just being clear that \\\"many fans\\\" feel a certain way should be enough, so long as it\\\'s not a full-on shoehorn. It\\\'s not a trope that needs that beyond its presence on the YMMV page, which in my eyes already presents it as something that doesn\\\'t represent an unqualified, factual subject so much as a variable opinion to begin with.

I myself felt I went overboard trying to tie in Japan and Brittany to show the slow escalation of a process that arguably started in its current form in Italy and ended with basically the entire German sphere being totally removed or reworked.
