Does it still qualify for the trope if it happens exactly as the trope description says, except that the second character says something that \'\'isn\'t\'\' a snarky retort? Or is the second character\'s response being snarky a required part of the trope? I really think, judging by the title, and the trope explicitly being two characters swapping lines instead of just one line from one character being repeated as described in IronicEcho, it\'s more about dialogue being exchanged and later repeated with the speakers switched, then about any dialogue having snark, but I\'d like to be sure.

Basically, I\\\'m not sure if the \\\"snarky retort\\\" bit is just flavor text to spice up the example, or if it\\\'s an actual requirement for the trope.
