Okay, the MoralEventHorizon stuff has gotten out of control. I can understand putting it up there as a trope, but potholing it is (ironically enough) going too far. The way it\'s done suggests a personal bias agains the character and her actions, which is not something we want presented on the main page.

None of that applies to Zii as she is presented within the comic. Fandom\'s opinion on her will vary as always (as it is wont to do), but internally, we\'re not \'\'expected\'\' to lose sympathy for her. The strip doesn\'t even \'\'have\'\' any real villains so far, being a SliceOfLife affair that crosses over with UnwantedHarem and SitCom style antics.

->What makes this trope different instead of being KickTheDog taken to its extreme, is that it breaks apart that realm of comfortable villainy. Doing so demonstrates that this evil character is not someone who you are supposed to sympathize with anymore (if you ever were supposed to), that something about them is now lost. A NobleDemon ceases to be noble. The {{Jerkass}} becomes a total bastard. The GentlemanThief loses his gentlemanliness, the ClassyCatBurglar her class, and WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds drops the {{Woobie}} part.\\\\

Note that where exactly this point is defined is dependent internally on the values exhibited by a work. A more down to earth work featuring a WellDoneSonGuy and a NobleBigot will have its morality torched by a cruel father withholding what last bit of love he may have had in his heart for his son. By contrast, a more epic work with people dying every other scene requires something quite genocidal and senseless to reach into this territory.\\\\
